Do you like weddings?,Then join Louanne and Hayse and the gang onthe CLAS Ranch."Boss Daddy" by Ms Handel was my favorite book inthis series.It was witty, flowed well with believable characters.Its fullof humor,sassy women and there was no shortage of Daddies to handout attitude adjustments when needed.Louanne grew up obsessed with weddings, she loves her job as thewedding planner extraordinaire at the ranch.She makes countless listfor every wedding and it's her way or the highway.That is,until HayesJenkins returns home and is determined to take back control.He nowis Louanne's boss and has his own brand of dealing with her,a woodenspoon while bent over a Island bench.Hayes and Louanne have had acrush on each other since childhood and it does not take long to reignitethe flames between them.The tension is so thick, it's like a rubber bandwaiting to snap.When ever Louanne got out of control,her daddy waswaiting with a open heart and a strong hand to regain control over herbratty behavior.I enjoyed reading Louanne many list and feel many readers could relateas they write their own lists.The dialogue sparkled and the inclusion ofthe other characters from the previous books added depth to the storyline.This was such an easy book to read and I loved how with the love and supportof Hayes,Louanne confidence grew in leaps and bounds.
I really, really enjoyed reading this third installment in the series of romances featuring the Jenkins brothers at their CLAS (clean living and sunshine) Ranch. This time around its the story of Hayes Jenkins and the ranch’s Event Planner, Luanne Dixon. While I mentioned that this is a series, there is absolutely no need to have read either of the first two books in order to enjoy this one. It stands on its own, and I’ll bet that after reading this story you will go looking for the earlier ones. Back to Boss Daddy, the story has Hayes returning to the ranch after being away working in North Carolina and he becomes the boss of the Luanne. She had always been infatuated with him and, unbeknownst to her, he had always had a crush on her. The resultant romantic relationship was a surprise to them, but everyone else on the ranch had been fully expecting it for some time. All of the Jenkins men are spanking men, so it is no shock that as their relationship developed hot spankings (both disciplinary and playful) are brought into the mix as well as some very graphic and very erotic sex. Luna is recognized as the absolute best Wedding Planner, being meticulous with every detail, but can she handle the plans for her own wedding without the help of a stress relief spanking? The “daddy†in Hayes takes care of the “baby girl†in Luanne. A thoroughly enjoyable fast pace spanking romance worthy of 5 Stars. Better yet, there is every indication that there could be a fourth Hayes brother story in the offing.I received this book as an advance review copy from the publisher.
I enjoyed this book that included spanking. The brother-owners of the CLAS ranch are are sexy men who have strong-willed women who know what they want...and that is a "daddy" (dom) who knows what she needs and he provides. It shows that you don't have to be a doormat to have a daddy. It's a loving relationship and these couples are proof of concept.There is a most definite HEA that will leave you feeling warm and fuzzy. This is a standalone book. There were a dozen or so editing errors, enough that I felt I had to reduce the number of stars to 4. As Louanne (the wedding planner) would say, attention to detail is everything!I read this book as part of my Kindle Unlimited subscription.
The more I read from this author the more I am enjoying her books. Let me say that even though the title has 'Daddy' I personally wouldn't call this strongly age play. It is more based on the level of care love that Hayes has for Louanne. It was a great read with fun characters in a standalone read. Louanne is by nature more uptight (in a nice way) than you will normally read in a romance and it was fun to watch her as she navigates her relationship and work. I also really liked that her character was presented with empathy and understanding when it would be so easy to make her not a character but a caricature. This was a completely standalone entry so if you haven't read the other books, don't let it worry you. The only thing that I didn't really like was the pressure that was placed on Louanne at the start of her relationship with Hayes. Surely the only people who should have a say are Hayes and Louanne?
This is another great addition to the series. Louanne is obsessed by weddings and is somewhat OCD with her lists but it works for her... usually! When it doesn't Hayes steps in and takes control. There is very little age play apart from the "Daddy" "babygirl" names but it is very entertaining to read and quite touching in places. They were meant to be together but for whatever reason, it did not happen over the years. When Hayes decided to make his move there was no going back, he was fully committed. Their story was very enjoyable indeed. I received this book from Stormy Night Publications as an advance review copy.
Unless this author is an actual “wedding planner†when she isn’t writing, her research skills are amazing and impeccable. I LOVED the book’s venue, characters and plot. I read it from start to finish in one afternoon, accomplishing nothing else and not even caring, as I couldn’t put it down. This is a beautiful story about a successful family business on a ranch in Wyoming, a man and woman who have known each other since grade school, and the awakening of their passion. The strong men take care of their women, just like a good Daddy should take care of his little girl. AWESOME!!!
